I've surfed Chas beaches for 10+ years and I always enjoyed Sullivan's/IOP more than Folly. The Tides is a long running all around solid spot just by the pier and public beach. Going to the beach to soak up the sun and just get away. Folly Beach is a very relaxed beach town where locals enjoy the ocean’s small but fun waves.
